activities...
It's amazing how many activities a school can shove into the last few weeks of school. Now times that by four different schools and one college and ask me how busy our lives are at the moment. Money for this activity, a early day for that one, cramming for a final and finishing up those school projects that really should have been done before now. Oh, and by the way...do you want to scrapbook some pages for QVC? Sure I do, because we really need the money for a trip to DC in a few weeks. But where does the time come from? I'm taking the time right now to fiddle with a layout. Knowing that I have a trip to raise funds for..need to make a few phone calls to a few generous (I hope) organizations.
Cleaned like crazy yesterday. My parents stopped in for a visit and they left this morning for a little side trip to Martin's Cove. My bathrooms look good...but I know now why I have the girls clean them instead of me. They are a little quicker than me (read...not as thorough) but it's not my time that being used so I'm Ok with a less that stellar job. I washed a few loads of laundry to make the hallway passable by the laundry room. Then had to make dinner, go buy fabric with Chelsea, renew our temple recommends and then come home and help Paul with some of his Quantitative homework for school. I now know the ABC's of Optimization and can use the Solver in Excel ;) In case anyone wants to know...
Oh yes..I almost forgot! I was pulled over yesterday morning also!! Lovely...in my pj's, slippers, no shower, messy hair and hadn't brushed my teeth yet. Taking Abby and the carpool over to the school. Stopped at a four way stop but didn't use my blinker. SO lucky I had my license with me and also had proof of insurance in the van. He let me off with a warning. Yippee! I was so relieved.
