One week....

Only one more week until school starts for the girls. I feel bad that their summer hasn't been too exciting, but it is time for them to be busy again. Madalyn is coming back from Idaho where she stayed with some friends for a week. She had a tough time and was homesick the entire time I believe. Poor girlie. She loves her mom and family very much :) Abby had marching band camp this past week also. Kept her busy from 8 in the morning to 8 at night. I had the house to myself the entire day. Pretty sweet :0

I decided to sort through my scrapbook supplies and pare them down a little. So I'm selling a few on eBay. There is really no reason to keep it if I'm not scrapbooking like I used to.

And I start school i two weeks. I'm a little nervous about the time involved in doing well. But, I got two scholarships and Paul's tuition benefits plus a grant for school. So, money-wise it's a no brainer...I'm getting paid to go to school. It's pretty sweet :)


I started sewing together some scrap fabric the other week. This is the block that I made. I believe the name of the block is Oklahoma Backroads. It's from the Quiltville website. I have a lot of scraps cut out so I was just trying to use them. I have three quilts at the quilters right now and I'm on the lookout for the backing for two quilts. The Farmer's Wife blocks are coming along slowly. Maybe the quilt will be done in 2-3 years :) or longer...
