weekend...

We've had a few days here and there of beautiful weather and then a few more of snow and cold. Today we have snow on the ground. A light blanket of snow and the sun is out. It looked beautiful this morning as I drove Chelsea to school for early morning band practice. But I am definitely looking forward to a little Spring weather real soon. Speaking of Chelsea - I went to her SEOP conference last week getting prepared to receive her 10th grade schedule next year. Two girls at the high school. Wow, it seems a little strange. Especially seeing Abby go to junior high. It just seems too soon.

Working on getting a menu plan for the moth done today. I am so tired of cooking dinner. Nothing ever sounds good and it usually doesn't seem appetizing by the time I've got it on the table. Too much in a rut. Really need to get the girls cooking one night a week. Just need to sit down and organize a schedule. Easier said than done. Tried a few more recipes these past few weeks. Macaroni and cheese, sweet and sour chicken and another macaroni and cheese with ham. They all were pretty yummy.

Also wanting to get my little table topper quilt finished this week. Have to get up enough nerve to machine quilt it when I really don't know what I'm doing. I've practiced on a few scraps but it just isn't looking the way I want it to. Oh well...
