where's spring?

We were having some beautiful weather recently. I've noticed daffodils starting to pop up around here and green buds on the lilacs and other shrubs. The forsythia has been blazing yellow for a week or so too. Our maple tree in the back yard has little buds too. I've been itching to get some pansies planted in the flower pots. But today when I woke up we had SNOW! It snowed just for the morning and then pretty much melted away in the afternoon and then turned into light rain showers. I really hope that this was the last time for snow this season. Crossing my fingers...

The term ended for the girls and they came out of it with really good grades. Chelsea ended up with a 3.88 and Chantel ended up with a 3.75. Not quite where she was aiming for but good nonetheless. Yippee. Only two months left for them (and two months of nagging from me) ::wink::

Did a little shopping today...have the menu for the week planned out and shopped for too. We were out of bread and I really didn't feel like going to Costco to buy more loaves so I made a loaf of bread tonight. Will be lovely for toast in the morning. Love my toast with cinnamon sugar in the mornings :)

Need to start working on QVC for the May show. Must purge these old kits first. Some of it I'm embarrassed to even give to friends. Blech! Have a new kit to work on that I'm thinking was designed by Loni...can't wait to get the instructions to see what she envisioned for all these papers. Fun times...
