in a nutshell...

It's been a busy few weeks. Nothing in particular..just alot of things all at once. Dance concerts, cheer tryouts, play practices, church meetings, parent teacher conferences, just the usual parental stuff.

Easter was very nice. Paul was home in the afternoon, he still had church stuff in the morning though. Nice to relax and enjoy some family time together though. We had a yummy roast beef dinner with deviled eggs made by Chelsea. That is one of her favorite things to make (and eat). We don't have them very often but she loves to make them when she can.

Chelsea made the JV cheer squad for next year. I hope she will enjoy it and have a good time. Most of all, I'm really hoping that she will make some more friends and enjoy life a little bit more. She's been struggling a bit with a few of her current drama-induced girlfriends.

Abby is on the sound crew for the play at school. They are doing Oklahoma. Paul and I went last night to watch and the older girls are there tonight watching. It was fun to turn around every so often and see Abby doing her job but singing and dancing along with the play. So cute. I am having a hard time thinking of her as a junior high student next year. She just doesn't seem like she should be that old yet.

Have a QVC dealine coming up....need to get super busy for that. Pray for creativity...

Had a few good weeks of super cheap grocery shopping. This picture is from last week. After the rebates, I ended up making $1.54 from all the deals. Sweet!! Free soap, lightbulbs, rump roasts, toothpaste, toothbrushes, medicine, body wash, shampoo and other stuff. Plus today I walked away with 80 dollars worth of groceries for a grand total of $3.05! Lunchmeats, bagged salad kits. salad dresing, popcorn, juice, instant potatoes, Eggo waffles, butter, paper towels and a few more little things. Got pop-tarts at Target for 12 cents a box too :) Granted they're Barbie Pop-tarts but I think we still will eat them :)

Ok, I remember when you were about 18 and you told me to be honest with you and tell you if you ever got waaayyy overweight. Well, taking studio-like shots of your groceries and blogging about them are an equivalent crisis. Time for you to get some help.
