gratitudes...

We had a very nice Thanksgiving over at Paul's brother's house. Ivette did a great job with the turkey, potatoes, and the rest of her dishes. I brought a salad, stuffing, pie and fudge. It was toto delicious. We enjoyed a yummy dinner, and then lounged for a bit and then played some games. Ivette and I rocked at Sequence! I am extremely grateful for their ability to host dinners and other activities.
Paul and I put the tree up just before going to their house, though it still stands in the living room undecorated. I think we all will be home this evening to put the ornaments on. We actually had to take it down on Saturday to return it to Costco and exchange it for a new one. We have only had that tree for two years and there was a strand of lights that I couldn't get to light no matter what I did, so we packed it all back up to return. I love their return policy :)
Working hard on some QVC deadlines for tomorrow. It's a fairly small show, so only a few pages and cards. I did quite a bit yesterday so I just need to finish up a couple of pages and cards. My sewing machine is sitting here just waiting for me to use it again. I really want to start one of these Christmas quilt kits that I have.
