busy weeks...
You can tell the Christmas season is here because there are a billion and one activities to attend! Paul had his work party last night and we have a bishopric party this evening to attend. And both of these needed white elephant gifts too. I have a love/hate relationship with gift exchanges though. I don't like the thought of spending more money to get more stuff that you really don't need in return. So this year I gave scrapbook stuff. I have plenty with the retired kits from QVC so I just kind of sorted out a few themes and wrapped some up to take. Good use of my resourses I think, because I din't spend any money and I got some of the extra stuff out of my house! :)
I sewed on the quilt I started and am at the point where it needs lots of pressing then sewing the rows together. But I probably shouldn't have started another one too. Bonnie at Quiltville has a mystery quilt that just started so I thought that sounded like fun. I choose pink, brown, cream for my color combo and sewed up 100 rail fence blocks
and need to start step 2 this weekend. I thought that it was a good use of the fabric that I have in my stash that needs to be used up.
