apron project...

So I got the serger out over the weekend to work on a few sewing projects. The first being Madalyn's pirate costume. Didn't get it done for the ward party..still working on it and it should possibly be done today. Then we need to hunt up some accessories for it. But on saturday I spent my day with this project. It was one of my very best friend's birthday on Sunday and I wanted to make something special for her. She's admired my black and pink apron before so I thought this would be good. I loved the fabric even though my hubby told me that it looked like his mother's bathing suit from the 70's. Thank you very much dear... Anyway..got the apron finished up and took it over to her on Sunday morning. She loved it and called me yesterday to tell me that she wore it all day because she felt so cute in it :) Yipee :)
