school...

So school has been in for just over a month. That first week was a little strange. I'm not too hip on being surrounded by these college kids because there is SO many of them but the course work is going really good. It's a lot of time. More than even I expected..it's hard to be the mom, plan a wedding, do homework, take care of the house, be YW president and have any "me" time. I haven't touched my sewing machine for a month. I really really want to just sit and piece a quilt for a few hours :( I really enjoy the finance class and even the accounting course is going well. I have midterms this week. I was so nervous...but I got a 96% on the finance test and a 90% on my religion test. I'm taking the accounting test tomorrow. That one has me scared...but whatever..I'll be glad when it's done :)

Paul's job is going so good! He loves it and the best part is that he has business lunches all the time. And we know how much he loves food and telling everyone how much fat and calories everything contains ;) ha ha ha But seriously, it's been good to have him working again :)

And here's a picture from Christmas--

did you see that little piece of jewelry on Chantel's finger?? That silly girl is engaged! Austin proposed to her on the 23rd of December. They will be married on May 14th in the Oqiurrh Mountain temple. Wow..that's all I can say :)

Wedding???? You get to plan a wedding? Yikes. I'm SO glad I had boys first. My oldest will be home in May, I can't wait. It's been a long 2 years.
I hope things fall into place nicely for the wedding. Good luck! Pretty girl, she looks happy.
About the food storage. I used a little cookbook I got at the Lindon Cannery a couple of years ago for my test recipes. I called them and they don't have it anymore but you can find it on the web. If you email me I'll send you some links of what I found.

Oh, yeah, no boots. I tried until 1a.m. then gave up cause I had to get boy #2 up and to drive the drivers' ed car by 6 a.m.
I did leave Sears a snarky email about their lousy website. I'm sure it didn't get opened but it made me feel better.
