a new week...
well, the first few days of school are done. It's been really good. It's kind of wierd to be home alone...but obviously it's not a problem!
Chantel is right back into the social scene at school. Tried the first day to reaarrange some classes but was shot down big time by the guidance counselor...decided to just keep the schedule that she has. She also tried out for the school play on Friday and needs to go back tomorrow for the dance auditions. She wasn't too excited to do it..I even tried by best to encourage her to try out but it took one of her friend talking her into it to actually give it a shot this year. Hopefully she'll make it and have as much fun with it this year as she did last year with Beauty and the Beast..they are doing Les Mis this year. She's also contemplating MUN again this year because it involvles three days away from school at some big compitition in Salt Lake.
Chelsea is also very busy. She cheered at ther first game of the season on Saturday. So very classic to watch her doing all these cheers that she would never do for us at home. Happy to see her happy. She's also in the Jazz Band at school. Which is great but involves 7am practices three days a week. So far no complaints from her though. She went to the Freshman BBQ and dance last Friday and had a good time. Asked a boy to dance and then in return had two more ask her to dance. Not enough slow songs she says. Ha ha ha! On Saturday, the was a Stake dance to go to. SHe could not talk any of her friends into going with her so she went along with Chantel and Annie. Actually met up with a few people that she knew and had a excellent time. Danced a ton! More than her big sister. I'm told she danced with a senior and three different sophomores plus other boys her age. Love it!! She was so excited when she got home! You go girl!!

Oh my gosh...I miss Stake dances!! I bet you just live vicariously through your girls, huh?! :o)
